Excursus Colour and Contrast

Complementary Contrast:



Combination with complementary colours (colours that are oppositely positioned on the colour weel).



Colour each other Contrast:



Combination of different tones (more than 2 tones).



Colourful and no colourful Contrast:



Combination of gray and a little bit colour.



Light and dark Contrast:



Combination of light colour and dark colour.



Cold and warm Contrast:



Combination of cold colour with warm colour.



Quantity Contrast:


Contrast based on imbalance of colour.



Quality Contrast:



A clear colour is encircled by a variation of the some tone with is more light or more dark.
